Lugda, a name derived from the Gujarati term for "clothes," embodies our commitment to responsible consumption and preserving India's endangered crafts. The DIHI in our name represents the joint efforts of Disha and Hiral. Our mission is to champion these traditional crafts, reviving them from the brink of extinction.
Sustainable Revival:
In a nation rich with diverse craft traditions, we aspire to be the torchbearers for these heritage practices. We are dedicated to their promotion, utilization, and resurgence. Additionally, we're taking a conscientious step towards sustainability by repurposing the surplus fabrics, lovingly referred to as "chindi," to create useful items such as accessories, toys, games, and more.
